You’re learning how to live in a changing body, identity, and life.
An integrative, non-clinical perinatal care practice supporting women & families through pregnancy, birth, & the early postpartum period. Our care centers the physical, emotional, & relational adaptations of matrescence, in reverence to a woman's becoming of mother.
Now serving Oʻahu, the Hawaiian Islands, & virtually

Pregnancy and birth are life thresholds that reshape the body, identity, relationships, and nervous system.
At Casa Matrescence, care is designed to meet women where they are, supporting the ongoing adaptations of pregnancy, the intensity of birth, and the vulnerable integration of the postpartum period.
Rather than offering one-time services or rigid packages, our work is rooted in continuity and relationship. We walk alongside families through the unfolding process of becoming — adapting care as needs shift, plans change, and real life happens.
We are:
Care begins with understanding where you are in pregnancy, in your body, and in your life.
Support is structured around care pathways allowing care to adapt as pregnancy unfolds and needs change. Families enter care through defined entry windows based on gestational timing and individual context, ensuring support is ethical, responsive, and sustainable.
Whether care begins early in pregnancy or closer to birth, the focus remains the same: supporting embodied preparation, nervous system regulation, and adaptive planning for both expected and unexpected outcomes.
Begin with an inquiry → Discovery & discernment → Your personalized care pathway → Continuity through birth and beyond
*Casa Matrescence provides non-clinical, educational, and wellness-based services and does not diagnose, treat, or replace medical care.

This pathway is for those seeking relationship-centered prenatal care, continuous labor support, and guided integration through the early postpartum period. Care adapts to changing needs, unexpected outcomes, and the realities of becoming a parent.

Casa Matrescence offers postpartum care pathways that range from guided integration support to immersive Ayurvedic postpartum care that honor both the physiological and emotional dimensions of the postpartum period and early family rhythms after birth.

Offered in-person and virtually, this pathway supports women through preconception, postpartum beyond 42 days, and other phases of life, with care rooted in rhythm, regulation, and prevention.
Casa Matrescence is designed for women and families who value continuity, presence, and embodied preparation, and who are seeking support that adapts to real life rather than idealized outcomes.
This practice may not be the right fit for those seeking one-time services, drop-in birth support, or a purely clinical model of care. Care is relationship-centered and unfolds over time.

Casa Matrescence was founded by Sarrah Hernandez, an integrative perinatal care practitioner, full-spectrum doula, and Ayurvedic wellness consultant. Her work bridges embodied birth support with preventative wellness practices, offering grounded, relational care through the thresholds of matrescence.
Drawing from Ayurveda, yoga, meditation, and years of birth and postpartum support, Sarrah brings a steady, compassionate presence to families navigating profound life transitions.
If you’re curious about working together, the first step is a care inquiry. From there, we’ll explore what kind of support feels most aligned for this season of your life.
