Integrative care & support throughout pregnancy & birth.
Prenatal care and birth threshold support with Casa Matrescence offers integrative, non-clinical support through pregnancy and birth while laying a thoughtful foundation for the early postpartum period. Pregnancy is more than the lead-up to birth, it is a time of profound physical, emotional, and relational change. Through personalized education, embodied preparation, nervous system support, partner involvement, and intentional planning, care supports your overall wellbeing while helping you prepare for the transition ahead.
Preparing for birth is about more than creating a birth plan. Together, we explore your preferences, comfort measures, partner preparedness, postpartum transition, and the many ways labor and birth may unfold including physiological birth, medical interventions, cesarean birth, and unexpected changes. Designed to complement the care of your healthcare providers, the intention is not to prepare for one ideal outcome, but to help you feel informed, grounded, supported, and adaptable as you move through pregnancy, across the birth threshold, and into postpartum recovery and integration.

If you are desiring continued support beyond birth, comprehensive Sacred Window Postpartum Care is available through the first 42 days postpartum, offering a deeper level of nourishment, rest, integration, and maternal support. Visit the Postpartum Care page to explore ways your care can continue through the Sacred Window.

Every family enters pregnancy envisioning a baby on the other side. While we prepare together for birth, pregnancy does not always unfold as expected. Should your journey unexpectedly change through pregnancy or infant loss, our care does not end—it shifts to meet you at a different threshold. As your full-spectrum doula, I remain committed to offering compassionate presence, practical guidance, and thoughtful support as you navigate the physical and emotional realities of loss.
If a pregnancy or infant loss occurs while you are receiving prenatal care with Casa Matrescence, your care pathway will transition to:

Prenatal care may begin as early as 8 weeks gestation and can be entered at different points throughout pregnancy. Earlier enrollment allows more time for your care to unfold gradually, with space to establish supportive rhythms, build our relationship, and prepare for birth and postpartum over time. When care begins later in pregnancy, our work becomes more focused around your current needs, priorities, and the preparation most meaningful for the time remaining.
The structure of your care is thoughtfully adapted to your stage of pregnancy, previous experiences, and individual needs, with what is possible within the available time discussed during the discovery process.
If you’re curious about this care pathway and wondering whether it’s the right fit for your pregnancy, the next step is to begin a care inquiry. From there, we’ll connect to explore timing, needs, and alignment.
